Something I’m always looking on internet are tips to improve my surfing, as a lot of you I presume. I found it harder to find tips to improve surfing for woman than for man, because there is a lot of videos about how to make a take off but it’s really hard to master and it’s not something you can get like that, it requires a lot of strength.
I’ll try to share in these series the tips to improve surfing fo woman that I find online.
This week, I tried to improve my take-offs. The fact that my take-offs are not right yet is really frustrating, as the fact to not be able to catch enough waves because I’m not paddling out with enough strength. I see heavier people with shorter board catching small waves in front of me because they can paddle like crazy… Which is not my case 😉
One of my goals for 2018 is to be able to make proper take-offs, and develop my catching waves skills.
It’s all down to power in the arms and upper body strength so I focused my workouts around push ups.
